Driverside Under The Trailer Panel

    The attached pic is from the driver side of our 560 underneath the front corner where the Alcan cover attaches. It appears the wood was sanded down so it was flush with the other panels under the trailer so there were no sharp edges, and then a finish was applied. It appears now that the exposed layers of the plywood are slightly separated (maybe 1/32 inch or less deep). My thought is to clean the surface up, possibly lightly sand this area, then apply a marine grade polyurethane or varnish to reseal it.

    Has anyone seen this on their trailers, and what did you do to fix it?

    That is a question for Cary. Is the wood currently wet/damp? If so, you'll want to dry it out, with the recommended process being to put a heater or fan on it.
