AGM vs. gel battery?

We purchased a 2010 560 Ultra with the smaller battery. The gel battery was a goner, so it needs replacing. Is it worth spending the extra money on a gel battery, or is the cheaper AGM battery just as good if you make sure the charge doesn't get too low? We intend to do a lot of dry camping, so this might be an issue?

Hi! We went with AGM. For the longer lifespan. But we bought Renogy 100 watt portable solar panels for dry camping. They work great and charge (to a lesser extent than sun) in cloudy weather and rain.

Not all AGM's are created equal. Check out a Group 24 Trojan AGM for a replacement. Fits perfectly in the Camp Inn.
This is a true deep cycle battery.
