In El Paso, this park is situated among the mountains and the scenery is so beautiful! The RV area is a small loop with only five spots! Saturday night all five spots were taken, Sunday night only two of us were here, and tonight it is just us! The tent area and day use area are far removed. Nice trails to hike and road to walk. Starry skies and sparkling lights of El Paso in the distance make for nice nights. Only $8 per night and no entrance fee with the Texas state parks pass. Well worth a stay.

    Jeremy,
It really was a beautiful place! We debated staying a fourth night, but hit the road east instead! Hopefully you will get there one day!

I finished reading your blog last night. Fantastic journey! I really enjoyed all of the photos!!

You should include links on posts like these to the your blog page about that park so people can see the photos you have taken.
