Hope all my fellow Floridians fare well through the storm!
Storm aimed right for my life-long town. Bunkered down at home as we are in a zone that isn't predicted to flood. I fear the devastation for the coast. "Luckily", Irma has been downgraded to Category 3.
    We need a miracle.

We are hunkered in Flagler Beach! Hope we don't lose A1A again!

  4. Hope everyone in Irma's path is safe. Here in Upstate SC we are having 50 MPH winds right now. We live in an older part of the town we live in and a lot of trees that have come down, but we don't have the flood concerns the FL, GA & SC coastal area are fighting. The winds are supposed to start calming down around 4:00 am. And hope Jose stays out at sea.

Nothing better than our 550 with air conditioning and a Honda 2000W generator. We're the envy of the neighborhood! FPL said we may power back on by Sunday.

  6. Schools closed 3rd day this week tomorrow due to power outages and lists of trees blocking roads. Luckily we have not lost power but all around us is out. Got caught on grading papers and cleaned yard up.
