For the first 20000 miles please see our First 100 nights, which covers years 2006 – 2010.

In 2011, we camped 24 nights and journeyed 3,510 miles. This year we did Manchester in May and in June we did a Rock Cut State Park Gathering. Our big trip was attending Crossroads of America at McCormick Creek State Park in Indiana. Leaving there we stopped by the RV Hall of Fame. We traveled up through Michigan, stopping to see our friends Jack & Nancy (who were going to attend CRA but at the last minute couldn’t make it. We decided to bring some of it to them.) From there we headed up to the UP, crossing the Mackinaw Bridge. While there we went to Tahquamenon Falls, Paradise, Grand Marquis and Hurricane Creek National Park, Miners Point, National Seashore. From there we continued on up to Copper Harbor and Fort Wilkens. In August, we went out to Bridges of Madison County in Winterset, Iowa. September had us hosting Tears by the River and then ending the month with Campinn-Campout. In October, Jerry & I got away by ourselves up in Wisconsin.

In 2012, we traveled to IRG 4 (see Longest Haul) traveled 5,740 miles long.

Great pictures - fun to be able to recognize some of the places you've been. Hope to visit Porcupine Mountain this fall. Kathy

Great pictures and story you guys are really living the dream. :)

  4. Kathy & Bob - We only got to spend a day at the Porcupines...it is on our list to go back there and camp. The hiking was nice there.

Anna & Steve - thanks! Just wish we had more time to "live the dream" We try to camp at least once a month from April to October, with a "big" trip in there somewhere.

We will probably stop at Porcupine Mt on our way to the CICO from Lansing. Since this will be the tail end of our Alaska trip, we might stop on our way from International Falls to Lansing. Will all depend on timing, weather, etc. Loved the pictures - the colors are gorgeous.

I think you'll see plenty of color on either side of the CICO weekend. Looking forward to hearing all about your upcoming Alaskan Adventure.
