Lo Lo Mai is a beautiful campground, convenient to Sedona, AZ, only 15 min away to the north. Bordered by Oak Creek, the same stream that meanders through Sedona's breathtaking scenery, the campground offers drive-throughs and back-ins, with full hookups, electric/water only and tent sites. Swimming, wading and fishing are allowed in the stream; there is also a nice pool. Restrooms include showers. There is a small convenience store for sodas and chips, but its better to shop in either Sedona or Cottonwood (also 15 min away, to the south) for anything more substantial.

Although the city of Sedona reminds me of a tony ski resort - with the fancy hotels, restaurants and shops, but without the snow or lifts - you go there for hiking to the amazing red rock formations, Indian ruins and four vortexes to rejuvenate your spirits and inner energy.
