I like to carry a couple of one pound propane bottles in case the main tank runs out. I was having a hard time deciding where to carry them and came across this propane bottle rack.

I decided to mount it in the storage cubbie behind the couch of our 560.

Everything in its place, a place for everything! :)

Since the front cabinets are the return air for the furnace I will need to choose a different spot in our 550. Suggestions?

$39? Is it made of gold?

Stainless steel actually. Agreed, a little spendy, but you can't findd anyone else that makes them. Believe me, I looked!

I know what you mean. I recently bought an old Washington State License plate from the year 1949. It was the year I was born. The price was $22 for a rusted $10 plate but I wanted it and handed over the money.

Cary suggested one pound bottles could be stored in the outside front storage compartment on the drivers side. I wouldn't worry about a sealed bottle being in the air flow of the furnace but wouldn't put a partially used one there. Since I'm trying to keep my tongue weight down I store mine at the foot of the bed tucked up under the mattress.
