    I'm going for the 25,000 miles pin. By my count, I've conservatively racked up 25,375 miles. There is so much to see in this country!

    1. 26 - 29 August 2010 - 3 nights - 1,350 miles
    Delivered teardrop from factory to home. Learned how high the teardrop will bounce crossing railroad tracks. Wisconsin, Missouri & Arkansas

    2. 8 - 11 October 2010 - 4 nights - 225 miles
    Shorebirds at the mouth of the Colorado River. Texas

    3. 26 - 30 October 2010 - 3 nights - 900 miles
    Buffalo auction at Wichita Mountain Nat’l Wildlife Refuge. Texas & Oklahoma

    4. 28 - 31 January 2011 - 3 nights - 400 miles
    Whooping cranes at Aransas Nat’l Wildlife Refuge. Texas

    5. 31 March - 3 April 2011 - 3 nights - 600 miles
    Migratory birds. Texas

    6. 13 August - 1 September 2011 - 19 nights - 3,900 miles

    10. 24 - 27 January 2013 - 3 nights - 400 miles
    Shore birds & wintering migratory birds on the Texas coast. Texas

    11. 7 - 23 May 2014 - 12 nights - 2,900 miles
    Black bear, elk & butterflies in Smoky Mtn Nat’l Park. Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Illinois, Missouri & Oklahoma

    12. 18 August - 11 September 2014 - 19 nights - 3,900 miles
    Tallgrass prairie in Flint Hills of Kansas, Headwaters of the Mississippi River, Canoeing in the Boundary Waters. Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kentucky & Louisiana

    13. 17 - 29 April 2015 - 12 nights - 1,800 miles
    Big Bend Nat’l Park, Guadalupe Nat’l Park, Birds, Wild Flowers. Texas

    14. 8 - 24 June - 11 Nights - 3,800 miles
    Fort Niobrara Nat’l Wildlife Refuge, Niobrara River, Wind Cave Nat’l Park, Fort Larned; Hiking w/ buffalo on the green, green prairie; Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas

    I have seen moose in the southern part of Teton Nat'l Park. I had hoped to see moose in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota - but didn't.

    Where are you, Pete? I see this is 2015 and I'm just reading about your adventures. It is very inspiring. I haven't been on the forum much for a while.
