Is there a simple reason why the cigarette lighter socket in the cabin would not be working?

Not sure. Does the one in the galley work?
Is there a fuse for it? I don't have the schematic close.

The one in the galley is working fine.

Check the fuses, the panel is in the right galley undercounter storage. There is a blue cover you can remove by loosening a couple of screws. The cover has a diagram showing the fuse assignments.

Interestingly enough , this happened to me again a couple of weeks ago. A blown fuse was indeed the culprit this time. I have stowed extra 10 & 15 amp fuses onboard now so I won’t be caught again.
