This is a nice park in the far western part of the state. It is not far from Pittsburgh International Airport but air traffic noise did not bother us.

We stayed the third weekend in April. So it is early in the season and only the "E" loop is open. This time of year it is a popular place for folks who want to fish for trout in the area to stay.

Most sites do not have water but the restrooms do and there are frost free hydrants throughout the area. Also outside the restrooms are two sinks with counter tops designed for dish washing.

Loop "E" is no pets but the adjacent Loop "F" is a pet area.

Most of the sites are fairly level but there are some not so much.

There is a lake with a swimming beach but we did not see it.

    Certainly a park worth visiting.

I really enjoy camping this time of year.
