This State Park is located in Rock Island, TN. The scenary is very pretty. It has some nice, but not challenging trails.

Although Most of my life I lived in Michigan, I must say IMHO Tennessee has a much nicer park system.

We live in Ashland City, TN. We have spent time at Savage Gulf, Big South Fork, and Land Between the Lakes among others. I do like TN parks. We have spent time in Michigan. Charlevoix and Beaver Island. A great place to go when it is 95 deg down here.

We just went through Land between the Lakes and explored it in January. Definitely a place we'd like to return to in the summer. Although we did love having the whole place to ourselves to explore on all the side roads. Of course we didn't expect all the snow they had this January....people down south don't seem to like an inch or so of snow...LOL.
