Jamie and Jim,

We Stayed @ Santee State SC park on Saturdayhttp://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/South_Carolina/Santee.html http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/park-finder/state-park/535.aspx. It's about 60 mi further from Norfolk than Lake Norman SP. Nice park right on lake Marion. The facilities were good a little worn but clean. Lots of shade. We only stated one night but we plan to camp there for a few nights on the way back to Florida.

We are at a Starbucks in the middle of PA on our way to Maine. If you are interested will download and send a couple of pictures from my camera the next time I have internet access.

Stopped for gas near Lake Norman on our way to Claytor Lake SP in VA. The area looked nice. I was accosted by 3 differnt lookie loo's while pumping gas. Oh the life of a Camp Inn owner :) Sorry not much help on Lake Norman.

Benn and Meribeth
