SD Other Crazy Horse Volksmarch

One of these days I will figure out how to post pictures as I have a great close up shot of the Crazy Horse face standing on his arm.

We have done this hike a couple times in the past and was quite an experiance to get up and close to the monument.

The hike is somewhat strenuos as it does climb up the mountain but the climb up is done on the back side where they have switchback roads to access the monument top with trucks. The views from the top are great.

 

We enjoyed Crazy Horse last month when we were there and heard about the volksmarch but the Hail Storm we encountered there was not fun.
