St. Mary (Glacier NP)

We camped here one night. It is one of the parks on the East side of Glacier and takes reservations. You are near the Visitors Center and can walk to it. You are also very near the St. Mary community with a few restaurants, gas stations and a small grocery store. The campground has 3 loops. One of them is on St. Mary lake. We were on Loop C away from the lake. Not a lot of overhead shade but we did have a lot of privacy provided by the thick aspen trees between sites. Good choice and we only stayed one night so we could be up early the next day to go to Many Glacier campground which does not take reservations. St. Mary is also on the Going to the Sun Road near the eastern end of it.
