Check Out This Sweet Shower/potty Side Tent

If I am camping somewhere without any showers, I usually don't have too many close neighbors. I'd prefer to get the water further away from the camper than a side tent to avoid having a muddy spot right outside the door. I use a rechargeable shower pump. This will fit inside a jerry can...

I Need Some Kind Of Air Pump/compressor

Once you start down the rabbit hole, batteries seem to accumulate- I have about 5 or so. They charge fairly quickly. My latest battery is also a beast- flexvolt 15aH. Switches between 20 and 60 volts depending on the tool. It came with the chainsaw. It’s usually good for a weekend of big...

I Need Some Kind Of Air Pump/compressor

FWIW, I’ve fallen into the Dewalt tool/man toy ecosystem. It starts with a cordless drill and from there goes on and on - air compressor, impact driver, fan, 20 colt chainsaw, reciprocating saw and my latest toy is the 60 volt chainsaw- this beast is the thing to have when out in the forest -...

With recreational cannabis so widespread now, I am wondering if "Moontrance" is a new strain I haven't heard of?

    Leveling Jack Nut Came Loose

That does sound like a good way to go about it. The impact driver is effortless and quick so the noise factor at least is short lived however it has more oomph than is really called for.

    Leveling Jack Nut Came Loose

I started using a cordless drill to raise and lower the jacks when I first got the teardrop. This worked pretty well up until I was a little careless one day and instead of lowering the jack, the drill took off and smacked my hand against the trailer pretty good - enough to run get an xray to...

Pure Sine Wave Versus Modified Sine Wave For Electric Space Heater?

So I got a 1000 watt inverter for Christmas and took it out this weekend for the first time. It worked well to briefly run the ceramic heater but was better suited in terms of energy consumption with the electric throw blanket. I also supplemented the heat with a water bottle. We were dispersed...

    Overland Expo Featured Products

Another option that I am fond of using-particularly when the weather is warmer is Kelty tarps - I started with the 12 foot then the 16 foot and lastly the 20 foot. 20 foot is colossal and I do t think I’d recommend it. However the other 2 are great for protection against rain and sun without...

That will also kill range on an EV. When we were in single digits recently I did get a bit of range anxiety on a run across town.

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

We went electric for my wife's car about a year ago - Tesla model 3. It's actually the most American Made vehicle on the market today. We've been much happier than with any previous gas cars. It's nice to charge overnight at home whenever we want for around $3-4 per charge. It'll go around...

    2023 Ford T250 9-passenger Conversion Van

Sounds like it will be a comfy ride! I'm sure it will tow the teardrop without any issue. I wonder how hard it would be to remove the seats if/when you go on a long trip and use that space for camping gear?

    2023 Ford T250 9-passenger Conversion Van

Having gone from a Subaru Outback to a Subaru Ascent, I can say that it is a lot nice towing with a vehicle designed to tow heavier loads. I often felt like I was pushing my outback a bit too hard going up mountains and braking - not so with a larger low vehicle.

Pure Sine Wave Versus Modified Sine Wave For Electric Space Heater?

I think you could make it work - if you removed the axel of the teardrop and welded the teardrop to the top of that generator and with some ladders it could be perfect. While running the genny you'd get the benefit of vibrating the rig - sort of like those beds in cheap motels where they'd...
