I have to agree with Ben about the front pass through. Even if someone looks through your trailer, they'd be unlikely to break in to the storage area since that's usually not where you would keep anything of value. With a lock on on the weapon you should be good. There's never a guarantee...

Spent one night at Valley of the Gods in Utah on a week long trip through Utah, Colorado and Arizona. This may have been my favorite night of camping in the last 45 years. The star gazing was epic! Feels amazing to be alone, really alone sometimes.
