    550 / 560 Ordering Options...

Whomever gave you the idea that your input is not beneficial I believe couldn't be more wrong. You and Jenn provide some excellent insite and valuable information to part timers. It will be a huge loss to the community if you were to leave and stop your input.

Try dressing while laying on your bed, it's pretty much the same. Maybe a little easier in the 560 with the couch.

Cant say I'd do anything differently, i almost went without the AC but am happy I decided to get it. I have the side tent which hasnt been used too often but has been useful on the rare occasion i have set it up. I am looking for a good deal on a Dometic, but I've done just fine thus far without it.

    ABOUT CAMPINN CAMPERS

Re: taking the plunge! Congratulations! It's going to be a long autumn for you but once the new year comes and the build pictures are available the time will start flying.

    AC solution

As I understand it the AC is less effective in extreme temps and direct sunlight. If you can park under the shade of a tree or create your own shade over the teardrop the AC will cool off the cabin. I've only been in mid 90s heat and direct sunlight and the AC kept the cabin nice and chilled.

    Single cup coffee makers

I tried a Keurig for a while, my opinion is it's a glorified instant coffee machine. Tastes the same as those maxwell house instant coffees at a much higher price. Freshly ground beans in your preferred brewed method is the way to go.

    Coffee ground disposal

depends on the soil, coffee grounds are acidic and not necessarily good for the plants. I'd stick to dumping in the firepit. They'll break down in there and add to the nutrients in the ash which is even better for the soil.

    Assistance moving the TD

I used WD-40 and the kicking has stopped, huge difference in freeing the wheel to move.

I like this, but where do you store the baskets during travel?

    Watershed Festival

I do have the side tent, but with the hot sunny weather of Eastern Washington figured it wasn't necessary so didn't put it up, plus we put my sun shade over the picnic table which isn't in my pics from this trip. Thanks for the pointers, we stayed away from the tequila for the most part...

    Watershed Festival

Yup, they are a matching set, but the grill is my brother-in-law's, blender is mine. The setup worked out great, used the stove for cooking breakfasts and stuff that needed a stove and the grill for burgers and dogs. The blender got plenty of use, frozen drinks went down great in that hot dry...

    Watershed Festival

So this past weekend I took the Hinterland Haven to the Watershed Festival at the Gorge, WA. It was a fun exciting lineup of country music singers and quite an experience. 5 days and 4 nights in the heat and dust of Eastern Washington and luckily I was nestled between two big rigs so never had...

Itinerary 3rd Annual Nw Camp-inn Round Up

I'm a student at UW studying environmental science. The dams are not completely gone, they are scheduled to be finished September 2014. However the amount of sediment behind the dam is much higher than expected so it may take longer than projected. Either way I'm going up there to do a water...
