    Holes

Jim: I installed an AM/FM antenna to the street side of my trailer. I used a Jeep CJ antenna, it's made to mount vertically and comes with all necessary hardware. It's a breeze to mount. Can be ordered from JC Whitney in either black or chrome finish. Good luck. Tom

    Richard Bong State Recreational Area

Re: Richard Bong State Recreational Area Ken & Peggy: Since I live in Kenosha I've camped at Bong many times. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay there. I like to go during the week when it's not so crowded. It can get pretty noisy there sometimes when the college kids take it over. Next time you...

    and away we go!!!

Drive careful as you get near the big pond (Lake Michigan) as it's very foggy here. I could barely see the house across the street this morning when I woke up. BTW, congrats on your new Camp-Inn, you're going to love it. Tom

    Bruce & Jackie

Hello and welcome Bruce and Jackie. Although I'm from the midwest I have Maine as a "wanna go to" destination in the future. Acadia National Park, and the coast to eat sea food till I lapse into a food coma!! Good luck with your new 560, I'm sure it will serve you as well as my 550 has. Tom

    Packing too much stuff!

Evan: I get accused and often made fun of because of all the stuff I bring to gatherings. But, when someone NEEDS something, I'm usually the first one they come to to borrow from. You're absolutely correct in saying there are two different kinds of camping. On road trips where I'm only...

    DO (dutch oven)

Re: DO Evan: Lodge makes a good line of DO'S I'd start with a 12" camp Dutch. It's a good starter size. The kind with 3 short little legs and a rimmed lid. You'll discover they are easy to cook with and turn out wonderful meals and desserts. You can stack them and make your meal and a cobbler...

Hi Evan: It was the same then as now. And I know what you mean about the wait. I was tempted many times to just drive up there and check for myself. Thanks for the welcome.......right back at ya! Tom

    DO (dutch oven)

One of the first things newby's to the teardrop scene need get is a Cast Iron Dutch oven. Most everyone at TD gatherings cook in a Dutch. Not only does the food taste better, but it's a fun way to prepare some great meals. I have 5 DO's now but only carry 2 at any given event. Depends on what...

    Veteran teardropper

Guess I'll be the second one to post here. I got my Camp-Inn 550 Ultra in 2005. #103 and it's the second best investment of my life (second only to my house) My interest came after watching RV Crazy, and after researching on the internet, I discovered Camp-Inn is less than 200 miles from my...
