The Aldo Leopold side trip was almost the highlight of the trip for me. We used "A Sand County Almanac" in College in one of my many Forestry classes. Will be looking for the film when it comes out.

In 2009, I spent a week in Olympia for some training and went out a day early. Drove the 101 Loop, stopping along the way at some of the parks. Very beautiful area and cool temperatures. The week I was there in July broke some heat records but I remember the temperature dropping over 20...

Stopped by Cumberland Falls State Park outside of Corbin, KY to view the falls. Corbin, KY is home to Col. Sanders first restaurant so we stopped to say hey and check out the museum. Stopped by at Cumberland Gap for lunch Just inside TN up high Thanks for looking.

This lady today was more interested in what it looked like, so I pulled out my phone and showed a picture to her. She was impressed. I'll use this office the next time I have to deal with the DMV!

Well today is a great day, finally got my tag!!! In and out in 5 minutes. Went to a smaller office a few miles further from the house. The lady I dealt with today was more shocked at the amount of sales tax I paid in Wisconsin since we picked it up. Last week went to the main office and...

We are probably going to play off of our serial number 420, (which in a subculture refers to another type of high) and go with "Natural High". Merle Haggard's song by the same name has a verse, "You picked me up off of the ground.", since we're no longer tent campers as well. :)

We camped three nights and did some hiking at Devil's Lake last week after pickup. Great place and wonderful views.

Steve Got home about 530 this afternoon and got it washed up and finally parked in a cleaned out garage. Thats a great feeling as well. J

Well made it to Rockford, Illinois for the night. Over slept This morning but Bonnie got me up about 1.5 later. Lot's Of tolls and bumpy roads, oh and don't forget Buford T. Justice who gave me a coupon :( Oh well tomorrow is a new day and we get to see What we've been waiting to see!
