A HUGE shout of thanks to the Slumry's for finding this fantastic locale for the 2nd PNW Gathering. Great camp spot, great folks, great food. Overall just a great gathering. Look forward to seeing everyone next time.

Sorry, I haven't been on the forum all winter & noticed the post for 2nd annual NWCIRU. Can I still get in? Its looking like my Grand Canyon plans for the Memorial Day wknd are going to fall through. So most likely I'll be staying local.

I was thinking of bringing a sangria or lemon slush beverage for the green box/cracker barrel. Either of these are best in a frozen-slushy state. I could pack them in dry ice for transport/storage but that can be kinda spendy. Any economical suggestions on how to keep it frozen or super cold...

Who would of thought a replacement battery would have so many options??? Deep cycle, gell cell, UPS??? Thanks LM for clarifying what UPS stood for. Even I, in my girly wussiness, knew it couldn't be United Parcel Service ;) Thanks Frank for the Batteries Plus store link. I'll check them out.

I need to replace the battery in my C-I. Any suggestions for where to buy one? I was thinking of going to Costco. But if someone has another suggestion I'm open to it. Thanks.

Re: Cape Disappointment This is my *favorite* place to camp in WA state. Even though I could just hang out & chill in the CG & beach, and the park itself has lots to explore, the entire Long Beach peninsula has a lot going on. Not to mention Astoria which is on the OR side of the Columbia...

How easy (or not easy) is it to change the battery. Mine won't hold a charge anymore. I would think it's as simple as taking the cables off the old battery & putting them back on the new one. But I've been reading on-line articles about changing a car battery & they make it sound more...
