My sweet spot when roasting is just a few snaps into second crack. Starbucks has THE worst drip coffee. I call it “Charbucks”. Coffee Bean actually has very good, single origin light roasted drip coffee.

FWIW I recommend turning the alcove around 180 degrees from the one in the picture and putting the long end over the hatch. Much more room that way.
