    Put thermostat near the couch

Evan, I'll have to come up with another punishment for Bernice because we don't have a furnace in our camper. Bernice takes really good care of me, and has a good sense of humor, so it's hard to punish her for anything! Charlie

    Don & Sue, Seward NE

Don, Great story! Those were some pretty amazing coincidences that you had! Our story is somewhat similar when it comes to reasons why we bought a Camp-Inn. We didn't like the hotel thing, sleeping in a bed that someone else had slept in, moving luggage in and out of hotels, flying, etc,etc,etc...

    Mattress, poles and battery

We got a 2 1/2" memory foam mattress topper($99 at Sam's Club) and added it to stock mattress for our camper. Unbelievable! I slept really well...love it! The only draw back is that I think it adds a lot of weight to the camper.

    Get the slack out

Hi Kent, I just wanted you to know that we got our camper out of storage today and used the quiet ride hitch you recommended. Love it! No more banging from the hitch! Definitely a highly recommended must have! Thanks for posting about it. Charlie

    Alaska Question

Steve, Thanks for the info. I don't know where I heard about needing a hardsided camper in Alaska. Although hardsides do seem safer. We did love the country when we were there, but when doing a land tour with a cruiseline, you just get shuttled from one place to the next. There wasn't any time...

    Alaska Question

Hi Linda, We have done the cruise/land tour to Alaska as well and didn't care for the land tour portion. We told ourselves we would go back and camp with our own camper. One of the many things we liked about the Camp-Inns is the hard sides, which I believe you have to have in Alaska. (Anybody...

    Locks for trailer hitch

Eileen, Thanks for those tips about hitch/trailer locking. Great advice! It will be heeded. Living in Maine, I am probably too trusting of everybody. Thanks for the wake up call. Charlie

    Storage bin organizer

Hi Steve, I have a planer in my shop that I used to make the boards fit, but a router or even a tablesaw will do the edges enough so that the dividers will go in. If you know a carpenter, he probably would have a planer or would know where you could get it done. Charlie
