I'm sorry you are not fully recovered. It is hard to enjoy traveling when you are in pain. I hope you are feeling better soon. good Luck.

    Fresh water filling funnel

I would not think food grade plastic would be necessary when it is only used as a funnel not used long enough for any leaching to happen.

Follow Up Roslyn Vintage Trailer Rally

You are all so funny. I love your sense of humor Sue. I laugh a lot when I read your posts. An electric fence always gives your such a feeling of a warm welcome. I do know the first few times someone laid a greasy hand on my trailer I cringed. Never went so far as to slap them or anything.

Follow Up Roslyn Vintage Trailer Rally

The filming crew spent a lot of time with his trailer which I understand was a rare one. I wonder if the electric fence will be in the magazine along with the pictures. lol

Follow Up Roslyn Vintage Trailer Rally

I was not told not to come back next year. This was the first event of this kind I had been to. It was interesting and I enjoyed seeing the trailers but I really enjoy just the camping and socializing of an event like we have at Mossy Rock. This was a little big for my taste and a lot of ego...

Follow Up Roslyn Vintage Trailer Rally

Had a good time at the rally. My daughter took her 1959 Winny. She had asked permission for me to go with my CampInn but others that had newer trailers or home made teardrops were asked not to return next year. Both of my daughters went and it had been a long time since the three of us had...

    New to the club!

Congratulations Richard. I don't think there is a better place than here to get advice and help. I'm just headed out to the shop to start putting things together for my next trip.

    Change of direction!

It is nice to get an update. I hope the rest of the adventure goes smoothly. I can't even imagine trying to learn both Greek and Hebrew. I have always thought it would be wonderful to know and be able to get a better understanding of the Bible translations. I don't have the smarts for it though...

Congratulations on all the new builds. It is a fun and exciting time. My girls said they never saw me so excited. I'm headed out on the yearly Conconully trip. It is a great group of friends and lots of fun. Graduated from a tent to my trailer last year.

    Dividers in drawer

I got a couple of those Pampered Chef knives that are sheathed in their own sharpener a few years ago and rarely used them at home so put them in the camper. I know some of you knife and sharpening experts will laugh at this but I'm not very good at sharpening knives and though bulky the knives...

    Galley Dining Table

OP, It looks like you are the only one who has any interest in this Modification. I have been trying diligently to learn to post a picture. I downloaded Picasa. I had previously set up FTP but haven't been able to figure out how to resize and move the photos. I can post instructions to build it...

    Extension for table leg

I was using a piece of 1 1/4 PVC with a cap on it about six or seven inches long. I would just put enough sand or rocks in the pipe to whatever height was needed for the site. I have found a better way now. I got a length of 3/4 square aluminum tubing. I took off the cap on the end of the...

    Galley Dining Table

I can't take much credit for this at all. Dan of Dan and Vanessa invented the table extension and I got one when I picked up my trailer. I tried to get the table hardware alone so I could use that and the table extension to make my own variation but wasn't able to find the same hardware...

    Galley Dining Table

Ever since I got my trailer I have been wishing the dining table was the same height as the counter tops so I could better utilize it as a work space. I finally got the modification done. I miscalculated and the table is a little higher than the counter top. I could fix it but probably won't. I...

    Out of Gas?

My bottle hasn't worked since I filled it the second time. I bought one of the fiberglass ones that Michael suggested but the little one that came with the trailer will make a great back up if I can get it fixed. It is so much lighter to move around for a barbeque on the picnic table, etc...
