So no snap ring needed. We’d just have remove that rusted ring, and clean up this area very well, then bolt on the new jack. Got it. May I ask why you got rid of your ARK?

Hello, we are looking at the ARK 350 and you mentioned the snap ring. I’m a rookie. Nearest I can tell the snap ring is the rusted circular area on our CI jack. Correct? Will the ARK 350 come with a snap ring or, given the current state of ours, would we need to order/purchase one?

Amazing. We’re planning a recon trip of ONP. Won’t have our CI but it’ll be great to get familiar with the area and visit family in Seattle.

Yup… The Carlisle Radial Trail HD seem to rate decently. I’m leaning that way.

Tire size. Got it. Understand about tires aging out. Was really curious about brands. We’re looking at Carlisle Radial Trail HD vs. Goodyear Endurance. There is a big enough difference between the price on these two… just made me wonder if all you experienced folks have a brand preference.

Hello, curious about how you are connecting your sogen/expansion pack setup (pictured in your post) to the trailer. Do you position it in the cooler bay, plug it in (where?) and close/lock the galley down? Because it would be acting as shore power and we thought the only way to connect to that...

I can’t see CI doing some kind of custom install during my build. I can’t see doing it myself ( no way!!) so I’ll move on. Appreciate the responses.

I have read that your AC (electrical components) would last longer. That and you could use your power station to start it. This is not my plan but nice to know it could be done if needed.
