Point well taken, We always used styrofoam coolers.... I just wanted you to be aware of the biting bug attractant properties of dry ice....

I have used dry ice for entomological field work - the CO2 it gives off is used to attract mosquitos, ticks and biting flies. I would advise a well sealed cooler for it, as it is a pretty darned good attractant : )

Our solution last year, where we were in many non wifi covered areas -we went to the public libraries. All had 30 free access to the net. Not as easy as at the campsite, but it separated work from camping!

We use bricks in addition to the PVC frame. We carry 4 in the front storage box, and place them at the 4 corners, just inside the pvc frame. The helps keep the tent secure and the poles from moving -even in wind.

Ken, Gorgeous! We have Hooded Orioles nesting in palm trees. At times, I can get my whistle just right and mimic the male. I once got a female to come within 3 feet of me! Orioles are a favorite bird! You are a very accomplished photographer! Eileen
