    I think I have arrived.

It is a happy moment when you back into a camping stall with ease, let alone in the dark! On my last camping trip I was giving myself a self-congratulatory pat on the back after having successfully backed into my campsite, but my sense of pride in a job well done was (let's say) "adjusted"...

    Furnace Furnace Option - Needed?

I camp primarily in Canada (from May to September) and do have the furnace option on my trailer. The furnace has only been "needed" a couple of times. The first time was on my trip home from the factory after picking up the Raindrop early in the Spring. The second time was when I was camping...

Couch / Bunk Beds 560 Couch

I sometimes use the couch, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that I use it often or regularly. This outcome is largely due to having mostly pleasant camping conditions so far (I hope that I haven't just jinxed myself by saying that). If the weather turns really cold, wet, and miserable, then...

    portable toilet

I have the PETT portable toilet with individual waste bags (used in conjunction with a pop-up biffy shelter). It serves the purpose, but personally I think it is on the pricey side. As others have mentioned, it is one of those rarely needed items. Choosing a less expensive biffy than the PETT...

Couch / Bunk Beds New Pet Cover For 560s

Yippee! This is great news. Cary, please add the pet cover to "the list" for when I come to Necedah in June. Kelly

    This View's for You,..

Cruel meanies. I just spent an hour clearing the snow off of my driveway after last night's snow fall. My Raindrop is snuggled in a bed of white stuff up to the top of its wheel wells. Ugh, your photos look so painfully sweet . . . gotta go (the torment is too much).

    Lots of opinions on Canopies

Re: Canopies (once again) Maybe not so ironic, Charlie. When I previously had a large travel trailer (aka house-on-wheels) I also brought along a screenhouse and most of my home contents - or at least it felt that way. Granted, it is not very commonplace for house-on-wheels owners to set...

grenade pin on the trailer tongue

Thank you taking the time to post your experience with the break-away pin - just never know who/when it may help. Julie: good eye :-) Kelly

    Stainless Steel!

Re: Aluminum and your storage cover! As some of you may have read from a prior posting in this thread, I have not been particularly thrilled with the amount of washing, polishing and buffing required to maintain the trailer exterior. It has since come to my attention that my storage cover has...

    Update #600 Has Arrived!

Congrats on your new trailer! As long as your dogs don't lock you out of the trailer (while they are inside loving the AC), all will be swell. I quickly learned not to leave my hounds in the Raindrop unattended for even a few minutes for that very reason. One time I had to pop out of...

    Stainless Steel!

Heck, at the moment fibre glass exterior is appealling - anything durable that doesn't have to be routinely bathed, polished, and buffed would spark my interest. When I bought the Raindrop, I wanted a reliable, low maintenance and easy to keep trailer.

    Automatic Locks with Key Fob

It would be sweet to have automatic locks on the doors and galley that can lock and unlock with the mere press of a key fob button. Especially when not travelling with a group, I find myself constantly locking and unlocking things. I have no idea if this it is feasible to automate the locks...

    Stove Stove

I use a Coleman stove/grill combo. I haven't used the CI stove even once (and I have owned my trailer for two years). Just a personal preference.

    Lots of opinions on Canopies

Ah, so that is the trick you use getting the Northern Breeze frame to behave itself and stand up. By any chance will there be a You Tube demonstration forthcoming? ;)

    Lots of opinions on Canopies

Re: Eureka Camp Trails Hex Screen House Thanks Ken for pointing out the reviews that you came across. I hadn't seen those reviews. There seems to be some variation as to whether or not the detachable windscreens are included with the tent. The low door height (if it is still only 5'4")...

    Lots of opinions on Canopies

Eureka Camp Trails Hex Screen House My Coleman Screen Tent is starting to show some wear and tear so I am on the hunt for a potential replacement. I also have the Alcove Sun Shade but would prefer to get down to having one tent that is a multi-purpose sun/rain shade with walls for everything...

    Wheels

I am glad to read, Joan, that you were able to get your trailer to a shop and repaired. Of late I have been wondering whether it would be helpful to have a handy section in the forum that provides reviews or some sort of commentary about TD garage experiences during times when it isn't...

    Energy Independence

Re: Energy Independence: Goal Zero Hi Joan, I apologize for not responding to your question earlier . . . I just spotted it. I am not sure if you still are interested in knowing how I did the Goal Zero wiring, but I chose to purchase a separate 4.7 mm input 6ft extension cord from Goal...
