Hi Cynthia, We purchased our Camp-inn 550 special last April. This is our home as we full time, so we added a few upgrades. The quality is great and the cabin is cozy and comfortable. My husband does all of the cooking, lucky me, and he loves the galley. We tow with a Toyota 4Runner, more...

We found an inexpensive two bike carrier at Walmart that attaches to the hatch on our Toyota 4Runner. I can't be certain of the brand, but it might be Allen. It has worked out well, and is compact for storage. I believe the cost was around $50.00.

As much as we liked the Cabela's, we did sell it as it took up too much space and weight like you said. We didn't replace it. Instead, we set up our REI In-camp tent as our extended living space and use it for a variety of purposes. We're fine without a specific privacy tent.

Sounds like fun! We went to a Tearjerkers gathering last May in northern California and a ton of teardrop trailers attended. We had a great time!

Mike and Patricia, We have the Renogy 100 watt panels. They are fine for charging the refrigerator and lights and trailer battery. No issues at all. Great quality.

Yes, we would need to leash train most definitely. There's a wonderful breed we are considering that travel well and can be leash trained easily, so we have learned. They are Pixie Bobs. We are giving it serious consideration. Will keep you posted! Thanks.
