Larry and Peg's first big tear adventure

Heheh, great trip indeed... Just filling up the map.. Jacks: While I never used them you might also consider the little Leveling Legos that the campers use... you just pull the TD up on them as needed and they'er not connected. Might have a problem on keeping them on, but some chaulks...

    Camping on concrete

Yah, Ghost, I wouldn't use the nails in the asphalt, it's going to break it up eventually and cause more damage than should be. I doubt the Rangers/camp-hosts would suggest that, but I could be wrong. Just doesn't sound like a good thing to do and how many peeps will it take, driving nails...

    Camping on concrete

Yes, it can be a problem, just don't sneeze nor breath heavily and you should be fine. I used some of my 'diver ankle weights' only cause I had them, filled with shot, 1-3lbs, worked ok... heheh, still no help?... I know, I know.. Those little red bungi cords with the little black ball...

    Internet access while traveling?

I use the Verizon Jetpack, but it wasn't $40... free with a 2yr contract $200 to go month to month $50mo for 5 gig of data Which can get used up quickly with movies etc... Verizon, in my experience, has the best "Out there Coverage". I tried Sprint several years ago, unlimited...

    Itinerary Nw Round-up 2015

Dave, heheh, LOL... ROTfLMAO.... They used to have the TD #built next to mine and was looking to get something a little bigger and more accessible for the Ms. They liked the roominess of them, but absolutely hated driving it... Not to mention the $$$$. I could probably buy a new TD just...

    Out of Gas?

Lisa wrote: Lisa, yes, that's exactly what I was talking about... I tried 3 gas stations, each charging $1 for the wasted gas when putting/taking the hose off. I finally was going to give up and went to the Amerigas (or other main) Propane dealer to look for a new tank if they couldn't...

    Water Heater / Shower

I've seen them... I used to,15 yrs ago, have one I made for dive rinsing. 5-gal, those blue round jugs, and ran a hose through it. Not quite the same, but I'd fill up with hot bathtub water, wrap it in the bubble foil wrap and at dive site would put on top of truck. Of course up in the...

    Froli® Sleep Systems - circulation

Sue, Think of cutting foam mattress back a foot or two, you don't really need it for the feet... Should give plenty of room. The RV crowd is going to the "foamies" but older ones apparently get to hot and turn to bricks when cold or something like that.. New ones have gel-packs...

    Water Heater / Shower

Yah, that is pretty kewl... like this.... You'd heat up the water to hot on the stove and then just let it keep warm using the bottle or TD whip on the stand and fill as needed, hmmm... dishes etc.. Nice... Thanks Cary.. Will be keeping that in mind..

    Water Heater / Shower

Interesting, That would make an excellent option. I'm assuming the weight of the fully filled container will work on the campinn stove without any problems and "Clearance Clarence" reaching up to the hatch when opened... I like that idea as you just carry it with you. No hoses needed...

    Water Heater / Shower

Just like Goldie Locks.... I tried the Big Green Machines (Coleman) and felt it was too big. I tried the Zodi, 2 bottle Machine and it was too tricky I tried the wall hanging one, and it seemed to be just right... Coleman: Many find it works just fine and use it regularly. and it...
