    Bougerv Solar Panel

….and if you don’t have the factory solar controller, here is a plug and play MPPT controller that has worked great for me. Solar Generator Newbie

Hey Cosmo, First of all, love your videos, thank you for them! I bought the Jackery 1000 for the sole purpose of running my Dometic in the back of the truck and relieving the pressure off of my onboard camper battery. It charges while I drive via an auxiliary charging line run to the truck bed...

    Considering Adding Solar

Interesting point and good to know. I keep the Dometic in the bed of my truck which has a metal tonneau cover so it is not visible. I refuse to keep it in the camper in bear country. I would rather have my vehicle torn up than my camper with me in it! o_O

    Considering Adding Solar

Easy enough to add an extension cord, I have a couple of them. If I had to do it over again I would have two of the XSTARS. The Jackery only puts out about 70 watts. Again, just happy not to have to lug the super heavy glass Zamp around. I think the heavy glass ones are slowly becoming a thing...

    Considering Adding Solar

The XSTAR 100 watt panel is brand new to the market and receiving rave reviews as it is super efficient and exceeds its 100 watt rating. It is very lightweight and folds flat. Note that it does not have a built in solar controller so if your camper does not have a controller you will need to...
