This is a redundant post… but for those whom may have missed it, I think it might be a little easier to buy this Camco - 57363 Leveling Scissor Jack Socket from Amazon for $5.70… and you would still have the hand crack as a backup if you misplace the socket.
Fits perfect and works like a champ!

We discovered this little gem on our camping trip to Virginia Beach this past weekend... yes once again. Michelle...
That's exactly what I did yesterday. If you have the new fan with rain sensor you might want to make a copy of that instruction sheet and put it in your manual also.
Re: Must-have options: Spare tire?
I got lucky, the spare on the Flex bolts right to the trailer. Check your TV bolt pattern, you might not need the spare.

Thanks for the feedback on your tent poles. I noticed mine need a little TLC and they've only be up a few times. I might have to start looking into alternatives.
Joan,
You rig looks great and it looks like the weather cooperated. I guess you didn't have a chance to test the bungee cord rafters in the Alcove. Think they'll work when needed or do you think they'll sag in heavy rain?
Do you have fiberglass poles for your side tent? I haven't seen...
Hi Jeff & Carolyn and welcome to the most active owners forum I've ever seen.
As Ken mentioned, you'll get plenty of suggestions here. There's a ton of information, so read everything, the search bar will become your best friend. You'll be surprised at what you'll learn about our teardrops...
Re: Bosch 2 Tool Kit
Good luck with the Craftsman, they make great hand tools but their power tools are crap... and their drill bits are really crap!
But that's just my opinion.
So, did I miss the video or has production been delayed? I mean with customizing #500 and all, where would one find the time to do a video?
Is it safe to say a good flushing of the fresh water tank and faucet will suffice or should the FW tank be sanitized too?
Hi Jenn, I didn't even catch that. I guess I should correct it …or not. I think most will agree there are times we curse the internet while cruising it.
Sorry Betsey, I know I shouldn't end a sentence with it. Damn, did it again.
Yes she did! ...thanks Jenn.
So here's the route I took after cursing the internet. I went with an ebags 3 piece set http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/packing-cubes-3pc-set/13032?productid=10150076, actually one set for each of us. The three different sizes allow packing flexibility and...
I have the Makita drill that Evan shows above. Works like a champ. Great torque, lifts the trailer even when the battery is just about dead. Fast recharge too. I've just been using it at home to lift the trailer onto the wheel dollies so I can jokey it around in my storage shed. It will be...
We're with ya on that one George… that's one of the main reason why we bought our trailer. We're looking forward to following some of Guy Fieri's road trips.
Sarah, that's right up our alley too… the stranger, the better.
Sarah, you might want to check out the thread on Solar issues… looks like you can get panels with built in controllers that work with our charging system that doesn't require the solar package upgrade.
