Yes, when seeing an overnight freeze you want to do that to get the water out of the sprayer hose. It is the sprayer hose and sprayer that is likely to get freeze damaged with an overnight freeze. Not so much concern of the faucet. Cary

One fun thing with a teardrop camper is the shape will clean up the aero off of big boxy tow vehicles. Most large vans will net zero or even see a slight improvement in mileage when towing our campers. Cary

A longer ball mount will move the camper further away from the bumper. They make ball mounts in "extra" lengths. Probably would have to extend safety chains and may require a 7-pin extension. Cary
