Thanks for the tip!

I’ve tried many options over the galley but keep coming back to the out of production REI Alcove with wind walls. I bought 2 before they came unavailable. I’ve stayed dry during many rain showers.

I know it’s probably like apples to oranges, but my great grandfather gave me a Henry double barrel shotgun many years ago. I have since gave to my nephew.

Hasn’t been on the forum since September 2023.

Only two tents are here with it being midweek and hotter temperatures this week. One abandoned camp early today. The other had no idea of the impending weather until 10 minutes before it hit. I did hear one spouse talking rather loudly to the other about the necessity of checking the weather.

Winds were 40 to 50 mph. Forecast was up to 70 mph with large hail. The initial gust front has passed. Watching the tall pine trees sway was unsettling to say the least. Now we will have rain most of the day. At least I got the coffee made before it arrived!

Not any better this morning.

We have noticed the same thing as you experienced with the remote. The buttons on the fan itself will do the same thing. The lid will open fully or close fully. I just made my adjustments to the lid manually.

I wish they would add a zippered door to the G5. We love the size of the G5 since it’s never more than 2 of us. Most of the time, it’s only myself.

It appears both movies are based on the same story. The reviews are better for the earlier release.

There is a Yearling Trail a few miles south of Salt Springs on Hwy 19 which is where the Long family resided in the Ocala National Forrest. The Long family was the inspiration for the book entitled “The Yearling”.

Being retired, getting a reservation from Sunday to Thursday is fairly easy once the snowbirds leave. Florida residents can now reserve a month earlier than out of staters.
