    Tail Light (update: Resolved)

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with this post. The tail light is now fixed. To answer my original question: is it possible to have a tail light module partially fail? YES. Replacement of the tail light solved the problem. Full tail light function is now restored. Easy removal and...

    Tail Light (update: Resolved)

Sadly, the tool between my ears is defective and past its best before date . Seriously though, I do plan to spend some time with You Tube for Dummies to pick up whatever I can about it. When tackling something new to me, I usually do try to understand as much as I can about the task...

    Tail Light (update: Resolved)

Thank you for the helpful comments. I don’t have a voltmeter, so I'll either start by getting one or swap out the lights to see what happens. Great suggestions. Thanks.

    Tail Light (update: Resolved)

Hi, I may need to replace my left tail light. Before I purchase/pull out the existing one though, I see from the owner's manual that the part needed is the entire module (rather than just replacing a bulb). When a tail light module quits working does it stop working completely or can it still...

New exterior cleaning & polishing advice from Craig and Cary

Here is the link safety data sheet that I found for Wizards Turbo Cut. It took quite a bit of searching. But, here it is: http://s7d9.scene7.com/is/content/GenuinePartsCompany/3049378pdf?$PDF$ In case there is an issue with the link, I have also copied the following recommendations for...

New exterior cleaning & polishing advice from Craig and Cary

I'm actually relieved that you had trouble finding it in store as it was you I was thinking of when I posted my recent concerns with using this product - especially indoors or poorly ventilated areas.

New exterior cleaning & polishing advice from Craig and Cary

I looked further into the warnings and safety use instructions on the wizards turbo cut packaging after noticing throat/chest irritation several hours after using it. Ordinary face masks are not adequate to protect you from the vapours - which smell deceivingly pleasant. Ordinary rubber gloves...

New exterior cleaning & polishing advice from Craig and Cary

I used to regularly put a Raindrop cover on the trailer, but I no longer cover the trailer during the summer months. I have since recycled the 1st cover I bought with the trailer as the material was deteriorating. In hindsight, I should have parted with it sooner. I do have another Raindrop...

New exterior cleaning & polishing advice from Craig and Cary

I tried to not worry about it either Randy, but my trailer is parked outside through Canadian winters.

New exterior cleaning & polishing advice from Craig and Cary

These photos might help give you an idea as to what to expect from the Wizards Turbo Cut. I started with the galley and have worked my way up to the fantastic fan area so far (as shown in the 1st panoramic phot0). The second galley shot is after using the Wizards Turbo Cut. I need to go back...

New exterior cleaning & polishing advice from Craig and Cary

My trailer is parked outside throughout the year. Six years later, the trailer has quite a bit of watermarking and oxidization - especially on the galley/roof. Walbernizer wasn't making much of a difference. So, I decided to give Wizards Turbo Cut a try. As I can only work on the trailer on...

Door Screens Door Screens Still Available?

My dogs have also "bounced" off of the screen doors more than a few times from trying to jump into the trailer when the screens are in use. So far the screens have held up. They've also smacked their heads on the bottom of the door from not waiting until I had the door fully opened before they...

    Design Change Question and Poll

Poll Question: Have you had rain water enter your under counter lid gutters after driving in the rain? No, not that I can recall.

    Implemented Nice New Platform

It has been some time since I've been on the forum . . . nice changes! It seems to be quite user friendly. Well done!

    Undercarriage storage bins

My read of the information on the link is the storage boxes are removed during transit. Still, I expect the tracking system would soon get covered with grit/grime and result in tracking problems.

    Privy/Changing Tents?

I have the Trekker Fold-A-Privy (not the Trekker Privy Shelter). The Fold-A-Privy is made of very lightweight material and is one of those pop-up-style tents (quick assembly, but getting the hang of take down takes a few attempts). Due to the lightness of the material I wouldn't recommend it...

    Sofa Cover?

I started out using a spare sheet to cover the sofa, but later got the pet cover. If you want to protect the sofa from dog hair, yes it works well for that. Wet paws? Maybe. A few times my critters have left their wet paw marks across the pet cover, but I didn't detect any seepage through to...

    Solar Hookup Solar Hookup Questions

I use Goal Zero panels. I've posted a few times about my experience with connecting them. If you want to have a look at those postings, I suggest doing a search using the terms "Energy Independence: Goal Zero" (or something along those lines). There is a posting on July 17, 2013 that...

    Subaru Outback whistle

Interesting. Can't say as I've noticed a whistling sound with my Trailhawk when towing the Raindrop, but I'm not carrying kayaks on my TV. That may be a factor (or my hearing isn't as good as yours).

Spotted a 550 in central Alberta

A bright red truck(maybe a Toyota Tacoma) towing a 550 was cruising along highway 16 westbound towards Edmonton on Friday, June 19th. Nice and shiny setup. It made my day to see a Camp-Inn on the road. :)
