Are you the first owner? What problems has it had, if any? Any ongoing issues?

Thank you.

Oh, and whereabouts in south central Wisconsin?

We are the first owners and it is a camp-inn trailer from their early years. Problems that we had they have fixed by upgrading. We live between Whitewater and Milton Wisconsin just south of Hwy 50. There are no ongoing issues and the trailer is in excellent condition. We took it to the Camp-inn factory in April and had it inspected. They replaced bearings in the wheels and replaced the battery and tender. Where are you coming from?

Emily I would be coming from Ann Arbor mi.

In 2009 I ordered a new 550 classic. I don’t remember the ultra designation. I’m not sure what you mean by “special.”

I owned the trailer until I sold it in 2015. It had some water damage and I have been to Necedah a few times for help.

I thought I wanted larger and bought an Aliner which I happily sold yesterday. I hope to own another camp inn at some time.

I don't know what the classic means either, but we have added to our original camper. The ultra must have built in air conditioning, water storage, sink and whatever. We changed the bumpers to metal from plastic and had all the seals around the doors and galley replaced. As you can see in the pictures it is wood inside the galley and there is no built in stove. We have a one burner Coleman stove that hooks up to the propane tank in the front for cooking. We really like the side tents to stand up and dress, leave shoes, jacket and it gives some privacy.
As I'm writing this I'm in Tipton, MI at our summer cottage. Tomorrow we drive back to Wisconsin, a trip we dislike because of Chicago.

Emily, so you are in my neck of the woods!

I did not notice, until you pointed it out, that there is no stove. That could be easily accommodated, likely, but I do like their built in stove. It look like you dont have a sink either, true?

You make a good argument for the side tents.

I am sorry but I will probably hold out for one with a stove and sink built in.
