Located in Northern Wisconsin in Lake Superior just off of Bayfield, Madeline Island is accessible by ferry. One of the Apostle Islands, it has very nice campsites, good facilities and miles of uncrowded roads for bike riding. Paddlers will love the rocky coastline that reminds me of Acadia in Maine. There are a couple restaurants in LaPointe, too.
