CA - Gold Bluff St. Beach

Has anyone pulled their Camp Inn down the road to Ca.'s Gold Bluff state beach and campground?
I have been in there with just a car, but know we would have no problem with our CI.. They say no vehicles over 24 ft. and no trailers.
Just was wondering if anyone knows if they are very strict on the trailer part?
This is such a beautiful place the ocean and beach campground and the ancient redwoods right down to the beach plus wild Roosevelt elk.

Re: California's Gold Bluff St. Beach

When we went through there in June, the road to that side of the park was flooded (around1.5-2 feet), right there at the Elk Meadow. I wasn't comfortable taking my car through that, so I didn't get a chance to get back there. Not sure if you can check with the ranger office and see. Sometimes teardrops get special privileges that other trailers don't. We have seen favors, as have other due to our size, and people in teardrops tend to be good folk. I suppose you cold follow the 'beg forgiveness, rather than ask permission' philosophy too.

All that to say, I am not sure.

Thanks Sarah.
I like the "beg for forgiveness" route. That is kind of what I thought I would do. It is such an awesome place. We camped there a night while on our honeymoon in 1994.
