Web Site: Devils Tower View Campground Wyoming RV Park
I didn't want to stay at the KOA, which sure, it's closer than this campground, but KOAs generally mean you are on top of other campers. With the current situation, being more dispersed is recommended.
It's 3 miles from Devil's Tower, and has a nice view of the tower, and behind your site is a bonus view of a local gully (canyon? sorry, I don't know the difference, but it was picturesque) . Electric only, no water at the sites. if you need water, just ask in the office, they will fill your portable jugs for you in their kitchen. One really nice amenity was they had just redone their shower buildings--2 very nice personal bathrooms. (Shower/commode/sink).
It would have been nice to have more shade (it was quite open); and there was a quite bright campground light spoiling any night view of stars; but if you're looking for a location close to Devil's Tower which isn't the KOA, it's an option.
