Galley Leak

I have discovered that I have water leaking into my Galley area.
I did a water hose test along the edges of the hatch and and no water came in.

Just a comment. The water leaked through the trailer cover( my second, the first returned for the same reason) WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THE COVER!

I have and have used the trailer cover and no problems on this end...up here in the PWN where we count our sunny days... as "Sun Breaks"....

I'm sure Cary will be able to fix it or whatever the problem is.. but my cover works as advertised. I just wish they'd put a "Front" & "Back" on it. I guess I should be able to figure it out with the two oval patches as the front, I just happened to see heheh, everything has a learning curve

Our second year we also saw leaks into our galley area. It happened when our cover was off though. The cover actually prevented more water getting in. We had a close inspection of the seals and Mick used a little calking. No more leak. We also noticed the bit of play our hatch has and I make sure to have it centered up when I close it now. Too far to either side and it could cause a problem. We haven't had one since though.

As Bestey said, I would give Cary a call. There shouldn't be a leak and the cover isn't meant to keep the trailer completely dry. It is only water resistant, and is a breathable fabric due to the aluminum skin. You want it to breathe.

Good luck!

yah, I had a leak too."
But is was the rubber gasket right at the upper corner (right side) had broken loose, Cary advised to re-glue it and I haven't had a problem since... after re-gluing it of course.. not just cause "Cary" said it..heheheh... no more leaks.
