galley storage/above drawer/teapot/coffeepot/toaster

look nice. We gave up on carrying a big coffee maker -- we switched to Aeropress (2 of 'em) and have never looked back. Of course, now they've created a larger size...waiting for time to upgrade for those.

Toast we just throw over a burner and flip it a few times....gotten a little burnt a few times but I don't have to carry the single-task item....something I really try to avoid.

I'd recommend you put some sort of dust cover over the toaster. some day your toast might pop up with some additional protein that flew in. sometimes that's ok. I dunno.
.. yes - while we are parked and hatch up there will be a cover on the toaster for sure lol

We prob carry way more kitchen appliances than most people because of my food allergies, and I’m plant based as well. We also eat simple toast early morning then i usually cook brunch late morning so that first breakfast we like the simplicity of just popping the toast in while our coffee n tea make :) After so many years of struggling to prepare and find food on the road, this little trailer is a huge blessing. I love cooking in the galley and am considering starting a healthy cookiing show that’s filmed while cooking in the galley :)

Maybe curious about my food allergies? Lol - I am allergic to gluten and diary .. didn’t figure it out til i was 40. Went plant based for several reasons/ to lower my risk of Alzheimer’s (strong family history in my moms side) to lower inflammation (I’m a fitness instructor and teach 12-15 classes in 4 to 5 days a week. 56 and feel better than i did at 10 years old. I havent eaten McDonald’s or Taco Bell etc in 16 years ….

@Ruthie Swedlund I'd subscribe to your healthy cooking camping show!
It would be cool to see a fitness show hosted from someplace out in nature, online.
With prices coming down on Starlink remote subscriptions and the smaller dish its getting to where you can do streaming, anywhere.

I wonder how much if is actually roundup and the other toxins in modern farming. I used to have to travel to Europe frequently, and I know when I'm home if I have pizza -- I feel like crap. There, I'll have pizza and pretzels -- and I never get the "clunk" feeling I get here. I'd love to see companies like Monsanto seriously studied....I'm tired of being sick and tired.

Sweeney you are onto something. Quite a lot of stuff coming out on the food complex and health. See X for posts on this

I don't know -- but I can tell you when I've been in europe in the last 20 years or so, people are slim, and eat much like I do when I'm there. I'm not slim. I can tell you too that when I have a large meal, like pizza or snack on a fresh pretzel, here I almost immediately feel it -- but I've never really gotten that there.

Up until jus recently, mostly you have glass bottles (plastic is now becoming more common), so the chemicals may start to impact them too. They don't use anywhere near as many pesticides and herbicides as we do.

I went to a restaurant there, the last time, called "Die Kartoffel" in Ladenburg (Just north of Heidelberg, and east of Mannheim) and had the most gigantic baked potato, just slathered with freshly made sour cream -- something that would have "hurt" me -- and I was fine. Not to mention, this is not terribly far from the heart of Germany's wine country (Weinheim is just to the north...Wine Home) -- Seriously a magnificent place and almost worth the trip!!! If you're in the area...stop by. You're welcome. Boy I wish it wasn't a 7 hour flight...
