Happy New Year to everyone. It was warm enough to camp here in SC as it was over 60 today. Nice change from last week when it was 25 with 40 mph winds. Jeremiah is winterized and won’t be reversed until mid-March so we only got into the great outdoors for the day.
Made it to a Sadlers Creek for a First Day hike. The SC State Parks had a Scavenger Hunt in December and this was the last thing to do for us. So now we will be getting some free T-shirts that only cost us a $75 in gasoline. LOL.
Hope everyone has a great camping year in 2023. Not sure what our summer plans are yet, but the Midwest or New England are possibilities. This spring will be mostly local camping as I’m coaching HS track again for the first time in 25 years.
