Hello Camp-Inn Community!!

YEAH! You're going to love it! I've purchased two (because I was dumb enough to sell one) and have no regrets. Its taken me to some magnificent places...

Any trips in the planning?

We just got ours one year ago and loving it. We did four shorter weekend trips then took a five week trip to CA and back to WI. Only problem was we could have spent 10 weeks!

We’re heading to your area in June Smokies…. Staying at Lock A campground east of Nashville then to Cumberland Mountain st park for a couple nights Staying at Elkmont for 3 nights in the National Park .

Your best bet to see others is at the CICO. Camp Inn Camp Out

Happy Trails ahead

Oops Lock A west of Nashville.

We have the Senior Lifetime pass half price camping :)
Yes! I got my senior pass a month ago. Trips are being planned - just a few weekend, relatively local spots to start - over to the Ozarks to a full hookup site, Big Hill Pond in Tennessee (fine tuning our dry camping). With those, another one or two over the winter, and a couple of nights on our way back from Necedah we hope to be ready for longer trips beginning next spring. Debbie and I really want to dry camp in Wyoming on a new moon so we can see all the stars. The mountains in eastern Tennessee are very nice - I hope you have an excellent trip.

Never camped at Cumberland Mountain State Park but we’ve been there a lot. Mary Ellen’s used to live close by and we would rent a cabin there sometimes. Campground always looked nice. I used to run through it

We used to tent camp in the Smokies a lot, but never made it to Elkmont. Mostly did the NC side since it’s a closer drive for us. The Andrews Bald is a favorite of ours. Great views from there.
