Howdy from Steve & Peg

Hello from Texas!

Peggy & I are are the proud new owners of a used 550 Ultra that is now being hauled across the deserts of the Southwestern US by a trucker, headed from the Pacific Northwest toward it's new home here in Austin, TX. It will be a couple more days before it gets here, and we can barely wait. I have a little (ok, maybe a lot) more work to do to clear a spot in the garage this weekend, and we are busy planning a few roadtrips for later this year.

We have been tent campers and pop-up renters for a long time, and are really looking forward to stepping up to our new Camp-Inn!

I was excited to find this forum, and look forward to learning from all you experienced Camp-Inn'ers!

Thanks,
Steve & Peggy

Welcome!!!
You, like me, should find answers to questions you didn't know you had!
Everyone is wonderful in sharing information and their adventures!

Welcome guys. We've had ours since last April and have made several trips, including a 5-weeker last summer. We're heading out again this summer. I'm betting you'll love it.

welcome to steve& peggy in Austin tx I live in Temple tx. I have one small question for you "does your camper have air conditioner ?"

Steve and Peggy,

Welcome and congratulations on your new trailer. This is a great site to learn and share. We've had our trailer for just over a month now and have learned a great deal from others on this forum. There are some very helpful and creative people here!

Thanks for the welcome, and I agree - this forum has been extremely helpful for me as a new teardrop owner. It's great to see the creativity and sharing of ideas from other owners.

Harris, I do have A/C. I was camping out in Bastrop a few weeks ago in the 100 degree heat, and could not imagine doing that without the air conditioner. I have ususally skipped most summer camping because of the heat, but it is possible now that I have A/C.

Welcome - we picked up our 550 in April and have been enjoying it immensely. We drive down from Minnesota for Christmas break most years and stay in Rockport, TX we hope to take our tear and stay at Goose Island and Port Aransas next year - weather willing.
