iPhone, iPad etc Apps - What do you use

Frank, yeah, I did use their unit in the car when I first got it, but with phones now being able to handle any navigating needs we have while driving, I really only use the DeLorme GPS while hiking.

They used to have an option that would let you cut maps and put them on a PDA/Phone, but I don't see that anywhere on their site. It seems that a laptop would be needed now for real-time routing/planning - or one of their PN Series GPS units.

Seems like there's always 'something' missing from trip planning on the computer to putting live in the car... smart phone are catching up, with the .gpx files, but still not there yet, IMNSHO... heheh...

And the battle continues....

I am looking for an Android app to locate camping spots while on the road. I found three which I think look promising and was wondering if anyone has used one of these and what you think. All three are also available for iPhone so all experiences are welcome.

Allstays Camp and RV - Campground Plus

$10, includes not only campgrounds but supply stores, truck stops, rest stops, RV rentals and dealers etc. One claim they make is that a lot of stuff is stored in the phone so an internet connection is not necessary all the time. Connected to the www.allstays.com website.

Edit: I found the thread about Allstays and it sounds like there is some good experience, but that info is a couple of years old and things change fast in this arena.
