On our trek from Yosemite to Zion we decided to break up the drive a bit. We were pretty weary after 9 hours of travel and needed to stop. We had research Kershaw-Ryan State Park and decided since it was the first campground along the way (outside of the Ali-Inn RV park) that we would go there. Plus, they mentioned a wading pool, and gardens and I thought, wait, aren't we in the desert?
They had all of that, plus the nicest State Park Rangers I have ever met (they all bent over backwards to help with questions and such), and we had quite a show (thanks Mother Nature for that introduction to a SW thunder and lightening storm!).

We would definitely stay here again.
