Kitchen Retro Kit on order

I just ordered the faucet retro kit and SS backsplash. I used PayPal. Easy. I called and talked to Cary about the shipping cost. He thought it was included. I got the idea PayPal for trailer parts purchase is new to them. I will update on how the shipment is handled and how it goes together. Ours is an '09 550 #338. I think we were 5 units prior to the upgrade.

Steve,
Let me know how it works out and how easy to install. We too are an 09 550. While it LOOKS easy, I'd hate to really screw things up on our beautiful trailer!

Steve,

Cary probably wasn't sure on the shipping as the Paypal account they have used for several years is Craig's & he has always taken care of anything that comes in our out of Paypal for them.

I think you are right about yours being 5 units prior. We have #343, and it was done first the old way, then they went back and changed it out in the shop, making us the first with the new one.

Steve,
I posted this somewhere else in here (not sure where). but just in case you did not see it - we just installed the faucet and backsplash kit in our 09 560. It is a really slick unit and the installation is simple. Camp-Inn instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Ken, I saw the other post. You answered a question about the instructions being clear. Were you able to save the trim?
I will update every one on how long it took me. I am OK mechanically, Let's just say I can adjust the points and set the timing in my old Plymouth. I change my own flat tires.
Thanks Steve

Yes, The trim came off perfectly. Camp-Inn recommends carefully loosening it from the original caulk by sliding a putty knife behind it and under it. I used a 2" putty knife that was old and dull. It worked great. You will have to file a bit off the end of it to reinstall it in the original screw holes but that was easy too. I used some laquer thinner to remove the old caulk after the trim was off.
