I highly recommend Lake Skinner in Temecula, CA. Large 3 loop campground, clean bathrooms, showers, camp store and a beautiful fishing lake. Campground A, sites 113-124 are my preference. Some have electric. Very child and dog friendly with lots of space to bike, hike and run the dog. Very friendly staff. Many wineries just outside the park and just a short hour drive from my home in Irvine. My go to place for a quick 2 nights. Rained pretty hard at times on Saturday and my Alcove with wind walls and bungee cord roof to prevent pooling held up great. Rika the Vizsla had a blast, it was good to get out.
