Poach Pods

I like my eggs poached. I used to bring an electric egg poacher camping until I found these:

This morning I made poached eggs and bacon on toast. First you put a little bit of oil in the pods and put the eggs in:



Then put them is a pot with about and 1 1/2 inches of boiling water:



Cover and simmer for about 4 to 6 minutes depending on how you like them:



End product was delicious:



P.S. The extra piece of bacon is for Bailey.

That Bailey is one lucky pup! I have a set of these and haven't used them yet. You have inspired me, and I am going to break them out tomorrow!
 
I was reading the comments on Amazon and some people complained of a funny taste. I have not noticed this. Some have commented not to wash with soapy water. This trip, I just poured boiling water into them and wiped them out with a paper towel. Just wated to give a heads up.
