In June of 2020 we began our teardrop adventures as the second owners of #19. This teardrop is the 400 series, 4x8 dry camper with one door. We live in the Ozarks and took our Maiden Voyage for two nights in Pottersville Mo at North Fork Recreation Area.
-Year 2020
-Trips 5
-Nights 12
-Favorite We Stayed at Fourche Lake, a primitive campground in Ripley County Missouri. We stayed for 4 nights. We enjoyed the seclusion, the sound of elk in the distance and the sunsets were amazing.
-Year 2021
-Trips 5
-Nights 22
-Favorite Our Trip To Hecla Junction at the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area in Salida Co was fantastic. We were gone for 10 nights and stayed at 8 different spots (Mesa Verde, Ute Campground, Spanish Peaks, and Sand Dunes).
-Year 2022
-Trips 2
-Nights 5
-Favorite Our yearly Family Float Trip on our friends family Property in Ozark County Missouri. The property is a beautiful old homestead on Bryant Creek. It is always a good time spent with friends and family.
-Year 2023
-Trips 5
-Nights 16
-Favorite We went to Buffalo Wyoming for a wedding. We stayed at The Dutchman Campground in Hill City South Dakota. We also stayed at Toadstool Geological Park in Crawford Nebraska. We were camping for a total of 8 nights on this trip.
-Year 2024
-Trips 8
-Nights 26
-Favorite In July of 2024 we were on the Camp Inn Forum and became the second owners of #128. At this time our daughter has been enjoying #19. After we got #128 we went on a bike trip to Greenbrier River Trail. We camped in Watoga State Park in West Virginia for 8 Nights. On one of our day trips we soaked at the historic Warm Springs Bath House!
-Year 2025
-Trips so far, 6
-Nights so far, 19
-Favorite Adding 19 nights brings our grand total to 100 NIGHTS. We still have 2 trips planned for this year, one being a 5 day music festival. One of my favorite trips this year was our last minute decision to go to Big Bend National Park. We were gone for 6 nights and we stayed at all 3 of the campgrounds in the park.
We have loved all of our adventures and look forward to many more. We have stayed at city, state, national and private campgrounds and land. We have stayed on the side of the road, rest areas, gas stations and parking lots. Looking forward to camping at BLM land, a music festival, a long haul for many days and anywhere else our teardrop takes us.
Cheers.
