Ron's been at it again, only this time he took photos of just about every step for our viewing pleasure:

This is regarding the Camp-Inn table legs. I've been battling the stock table legs for way to long. Finally my dogs leash got tangled around the leg of the folding table and buckled it beyond repair. I tried to straighten it but the buckled part became the weak point. So, off I went to the drawing board. I saw someone using a crutch as a leg on a homebuilt TD at the IRG but the way it was mounted left a lot to be desired.
As you can see in the photos, I figured a way for the legs to be mounted in a way that they have plenty of strength and will easily fold in place for storage. With the crutch leg, I have at least 4 extra inches of travel either upward or downward.
I used a piece of 3.5" aluminum channel and did a little creative cutting & grinding here and there.
I also added a stop so the leg can't protrude outward.
It works swell! The only drawback is the smaller table will not fit in its 'stash' spot on top of the cooler any more. I have to carry it inside the sleeping quarters. The larger folding table is presenting more of a challenge because of the 'offset' of the leg. I've got if figured out but haven't completed the job yet. The folding table will fit in place in front of the cooler just fine when completed. Everything is made of aluminum and hardly weighs anything...
