We are recharging our solar batteries for a little bit in AZ, and stopped by the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction today to see up close, and personal some of the spectacular vehicles that I usually only get to see on the televised version of their auction.
Came across one that I thought would be of interest even to those of you who aren't auto buffs.

Really cool! Thanks for sharing! I'm trying to figure out the hatch prop and how it works. For some reason it's reminding me of a coffee mug or jewelry tree/rack. Is that a belt to hold the galley drawers closed?

I believe the hatch prop folded, and has a dowel pin to hold it in it's extended position, and yes that is a leather belt holding the galley drawers closed...primitive, but effective.
